Who Alex works with
Personalised support for diverse learners
Alex works with secondary students who need help in a particular subject, support with managing schoolwork, or a combination of both. He has experience supporting students with ADHD, autism and specific learning difficulties, including dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia, as well as executive-function challenges.
Support can also be extended for gifted and high-potential students who would benefit from greater challenge, depth and complexity.

A qualified teacher specialising in learning support
Alex McPherson is a qualified secondary teacher with nine years of experience across classroom teaching, learning support and literacy intervention. He teaches English, History and Geography and supports students to strengthen their subject knowledge, written expression, organisation, executive functioning and study skills.
Every session is personally planned and delivered by Alex, with support shaped around the student’s current schoolwork, strengths and goals.
